This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) has been prepared by and applies to the products and services of Progow Corp. (“Progow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) on all platforms, media, and formats. This policy is designed to describe how Progow collects, stores, uses, and discloses your information. By using Progow, you consent to this Policy.

As with our Terms of Service, if you have any questions or do not agree with this Policy, please cease use of Progow immediately and contact us.

Collected Information

Progow maintains two types of information about you, personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable. Personally identifiable information is collected in compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”).

Personally Identifiable Information

When you create an account with Progow, whether you are a User, Consumer, or otherwise engage with Progow, you may be asked to provide us with certain personal information. This personally identifiable information is linked to you or your account specifically. This information may include:

  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address, username, or password)
  • Professional information (past or present employers, positions/titles, educational background, degrees earned, other certificates/licenses held, and dates related to each)
  • Any other content created or provided by you for or to Progow
  • Your birthday
  • Transaction related information

Depending on your use of Progow, some of this personally identifiable information will be used to verify certain background items for employment purposes, or for your own records at your request.

Job Applicants wishing to remove their personally identifiable information from Progow’s platform may do so by contacting Progow directly.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

In the course of doing business, Progow may collect data that is not specifically linked to you specifically.

Credit Card Information

As described in the Terms of Service and elsewhere, Progow does not collect nor store credit card information. Progow instead uses a third party to process payments and any such payment information is collected and stored in accordance with that third party’s policies.

Sharing of Information

Progow may use the information we collect from you to communicate with you, provide you with our services, and improve those services. For example, we may use your email address to send you copies of your consumer report or other communications.

In addition, Progow may use your personal information with third parties necessary to support our products and services. This may include services that help Progow to analyze or market our own products and services. Progow will not share your personal Information with third parties for the purpose of marketing their products without your prior consent. Progow does not sell User or Consumer email lists.

Progow will share your personally identifiable information with the appropriate authorities if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law or court order, to protect our rights or property, or to protect the safety of our users or the public. Additionally, if Progow or substantially all of Progow’s assets are acquired, or if Progow goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information, including personally identifiable information, may be one of the assets that is transferred to or acquired by a third party.

Progow may share non-personal information with third parties for various purposes. Progow may share information with third parties about the number of registered users and unique visitors to our website, or about the types of Progow products and services that are most often used.

Opt-Out Options

In order to provide our products and services, Progow must collect some personally identifiable information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, do not register with Progow or complete any employment application through our platform.

You may opt out of certain types of emails from Progow while maintaining an active Progow account. At different points Progow provide information about our products and services, send newsletters, promotional emails, notify you to account changes, or send technical or transactional communications. By creating an account with Progow, you agree to allow Progow to send you such emails. You may opt out of newsletters and promotional emails by contacting Progow directly, either by mail or email.

Security of Information

Your information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and requires a password or your direct consent to transmit. While Progow strives to keep your information secure, no web based service is completely secure. As such, Progow cannot guarantee any confidential or Personally Identifiable Information you share while using the product is maintained at a level of protection for your specific needs. We assume no responsibility for unauthorized access to your information.

Policy Towards Children

Per our Terms of Service, Progow is intended only for users 18 and above. Progow does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not provide us with any personally identifiable information. If we learn that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under 13, we will take steps to promptly delete the information.

Policy Updates

Please check back regularly for changes to this policy, as Progow may update it from time to time. Progow will indicate on this Policy the date of the most recent upgrade. By continuing to use Progow you agree to the updated Policy terms.
